The Edelrid Mega Jul Bulletproof Belay Kit II is a belaying set containing a Mega Jul II belay device and an HMS Bulletproof Screw FG carabiner. The ideal belaying combination for first time and experienced climbers alike.
Combining features from a number of other belay devices, theĀ Edelrid Mega Jul offersĀ one fairly unique package.Ā The 2-rope capacity, low weight and guide mode will make it of interest to trad climbers, whilst the auto-locking function both reduces the chance of a belayer dropping a leader in the event of a fall and makes it easier to lock off a leader if they are working (or dogging!) a route will appeal to sport and wall climbers. The HMS Bulletproof Screw carabiner is the ideal partner for the Jul, featuring a nice wide profile and section of steel at the top of the carabiner to limit internal wear.
