In recent years there has been a lot of excitement in the mountaineering environment, this has led not only to the creation but also to the rediscovery of many routes of all difficulties, from the normal routes to the most severe climbs of the Central Alps, which have been included in this new guide. The division of the various areas has also been revised, in light of the publication of other guides in this series that cover the latter, in order to better explore the whole of Val Masino.

The volume is completed by images and insights into the history and characters who wrote it.
