The Petzl Laser Speed is an ultra-high-performance ice screw with integrated crank. It varies from its predecessor by way of three teeth, rather than the usual four- making the screw much easier to place in the ice.

An ultra-high-performance ice screw, ideal for any type of ice. The shape of the tri-toothed drill improves the bite of the ice screw, while the steel tube is strong yet lightweight. The integrated folding crank gives an optimised lever/handle, making it easier and faster to place the screws. Finally, colour-coding helps identify the length of a screw.

NB: Unlike the longer length screws, LASER SPEED 10 cm is not rated for dynamic falls and is designed as a piece of last resort protection.
