The Petzl Croll S is a compact, lightweight and simple to use chest ascender, that is ideal for ascending thin to medium (8-11mm) diameter ropes. 

Offering real, unmatched efficiency when getting up fixed lines, the Petzl Croll S is easy to use with the attachment holes ensuring efficient positioning during the ascent. Compact and lightweight, it does not interfere with progression and the stainless steel wear plate improves its durability by reinforcing the rope friction zone. It has been adapted for intense caving and features a toothed cam with a self-cleaning slot, which optimises performance under all conditions (e.g. frozen or dirty ropes).
