Pembroke Volume 1 Cardigan Bay to Milford Haven
The Pembroke Volume 1 Cardigan Bay to Milford Haven is the first of a five part series to the climbing on offer in Pembroke by the Climbers club.
Covering the areas north of Milford Haven and stretching right the way up to Cardigan Bay, (of which some of the crags are actually just outside Pembrokeshire), the Pembroke Volume 1 Cardigan Bay to Milford HavenĀ guidebook contains a huge variety of climbing, with plenty of stunning scenery. The classic cliffs of this area include Carey-y-Barcud, Porthclais, Caerfai and St Davidās Head. There are plenty of other cliffs of course, and the author, Steve Quinton, has given great descriptions to them all.
The climbing is not all on sea cliffs, inland crags are also described. The guide contains mostly trad routes as you would expect, however there are sport routes and some bouldering, and of course some DWS.
