The Grivel Dark Machine replaces the Tech Machine Carbon as the brand's top-end technical axe, specifically designed for for ice climbing.
Featuring a full carbon handle combined with a hybrid composite shaft, which utilisesĀ an alloy core wrapped with more carbon, the Grivel Dark Machine creates an incredible balance of weight overĀ strength. The handle is also narrower than on previous models, making easy to get a full finger wrap, and thus decrease fatigue (pump) on steep ground. As with all the latest tools it features with interchangeable blades and G-BoneĀ shaft.Ā
