Black Diamond Distance Z
The Black Diamond Distance Z is a versatile, dependable and cost effective 3 season trekking pole,Ā designed for everyday trail running and hiking.Ā
Available in 4 different lengths, the 7075 aluminium shafts have shaved off (an average) 7% of weight compared to previous models while the lightweight EVA foam grip is breathable and made from moisture wicking recycled materials. The Distance Z series have been refined and rebuilt for optimized joint support - with a new push button joint release in place of the internal pin of older models.Ā
Each pair of poles comes with carbide and rubber tech tips, with ultra-light running baskets and hiking baskets as standard. All of the Black Diamond Z poles are also Z-Pole Snow Basket compatible.

How to Measure:Ā On flat ground, the top of the trekking pole handle should be at waist or hip level and your elbow at approximately 90 degrees. For walking, hiking and backpacking: Stability and support matter most. Size up if you're right on a size cusp. For running: Uphill propulsion matters most. Size down if you're right on the size cusp.
